What is CaterBid?
CaterBid.com allows users to build an upcoming event, decide how long caterers can bid on it, and then post the event.  Local caterers are instantly notified of your event and compete to service the event by creating a bid package based on your requirements for the lowest possible price.  You review the bids for your event, and select a winning bid. The best part: the service is completely free to CaterBid.com registered users.  It is the hassle-free, haggle-free way to book the event you want at the best possible price!
How does CaterBid work?

Registered users create and post a special event in three easy steps using CaterBid's customized templates.  Caterers in the event's surrounding area are instantly notified of your event and can generate competing bids to service your event.  When you've found the package that's right for you, you accept the winning bid.  Whether you're planning a business or social gathering, you choose the caterer of your choice with exceptional value!

Why do I have to register?

In order to post an event, you must be a registered user of CaterBid.com. This provides us with your contact information so we can keep you updated as caterers bid on your event. Your privacy is important to us, so we do not provide caterers with any of your contact details until after you have successfully accepted a bid.

How do I register/create a profile?

From the home page, select "Client Registration" in the upper right hand corner of the page.  Registration takes only minutes to complete, and once you are registered, you can start planning your event immediately
